I’ll continue this from where we were on the last thread...

If Wahlstrom is skating it doesn’t necessarily mean he’s good to go. I know I’m not telling anyone anything they don’t know but I would think Wahlstrom would be in if he were available. Zajac was good his first game in and I thought he was ok last night but Wahlstrom is the better all around player. I can’t imagine him not being in the line up if he’s ready but who knows...

If he is available and not playing that’s (frank)ing stupid if you feel you must leave Zajac in now then get rid of Komacrap already and call it a day.

Islanders need shooters in there. This is a pass first team. Shoot the puck already. Boston won because they are not afraid to shoot the puck.

Not true. Most of Josh Bailey's goals occur when he's attempting to pass, and a d-man accidentally deflects the pass into his own net.

Trotz had said he was 'getting closer' a few days ago. He and Dal Colle have been skating, but not with the starters.

We can use that shot back in the lineup.

There’s a certain amount of truth in this. Look at both goals they scored. Look at their mentality this whole series so far versus ours when it comes to getting the puck on net.

Sometimes Bailey shoots it into his own net by accident too.

Answered on the other blog, but...not me

Not surprised you ran into another diehard, though...I've run into a lot of Isles fans since moving out here.

I mean, technically it's correct that he was closer on that day than he was the day before, but that can still mean anything in Trotz-speak

Wow. Crazy. I thought you were the only huge Islander fan from Long Island. So there’s more?

The Neanderthal Islanders are getting exactly what they deserve. No offensive talent. I have never seen so many dirty ugly goals scored by any one team and I have been watching hockey a long time I saw the first Penguin game back in 67. If hockey was played like this nobody would watch. They probably would have made Gretz a grinder on the third or fourth line. Just awful

They've both been welcome additions. It would have been nice to see Palmieri on the top line, but we've already go a bonafide star in that LW spot
Definitely appreciate their work ethic. Hope the team can make it worth the time spent
